About the Course
Bring your practice to the next level by incorporating Fang Scalp Acupuncture! Fang Scalp Acupuncture is an award winning acupuncture microsystem that beautifully integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine with neuroscience. Developed in the 1960s by Dr. Fang Yun Peng and his son Dr. Fang Ben Zheng, Fang Scalp Acupuncture earned national recognition in China at the 1978 National Science and Technology conference.
Fang Scalp Acupuncture allows a TCM practitioner to adjust the body's Qi flow through the central nervous system. It is very effective on a broad spectrum of acute and chronic diseases; it often yields quick results and immediate pain relief. Scalp acupuncture has the advantage of being conveniently and quickly applied without needing the patient to lay down or adjust their clothing. And, compared to other scalp acupuncture styles, Fang Scalp Acupuncture specifically lends itself to flying needle technique that minimizes pain upon insertion and is children-friendly.
Dr. Ching Ching Chi studied extensively with Dr. Fang Ben Zheng and has since incorporated Fang Scalp Acupuncture in her treatment protocol with great clinical success. Dr. Chi has gone great lengths to understand and standardize the Fang microsystem in order to better teach the next generation of TCM practitioners -- and she is the first teach it in English!
